Your cuts in BBC World service is encouraging crimes against humanity

We know that you have some budget challenges as a result of the financial crisis - but cutting the BBC world service programmes is a stupid way to approach this at a time when these services in support of press freedom, human rights and democracy are so much needed. There are now unprecedented global political changes and the BBC has developed a good reputation to cover these - with influence far beyond Whitehall.

This is like stabbing yourself in the back - get real! You are not helping UK or anybody else by such measures.

Yes it's the same as the Government. Make cuts to essential services whilst paying out enormous amounts of our money on expenses and outrageous taxi fares to employees.

Cut out some of these inane programmes like Rip of Britain which tells us over and over again
things that we already know without taking to task the perpetrators. It would also help if you employed professionals instead of ex newsreaders and the like who are quite frankly past their sell by date. They are all jacks of all trades and masters of none and all seem to be on the
same circuit of programmes e.g. property and antiques etc. along with a number of other out
of work entertainers, who are employed on programmes that are a load of garbage.
