Where will they end up , Out on the street ?
Sacrifice made, life on the line

Whats their repayment, for giving their all ?

What an abolutely stupid & short sighted policy to reduce the army to 82,000.
If the govt. requires to save money most off us can suggest several options.
One the the regiments due to be culled is my own, 3 Mercian (Staffords).
A proud and courageous unit with a 307 year history recently back from Helmand.
This is the thanks we get for serving the country.
Your goverment should hang it's head in shame for proposing these cuts.
Funny how we are needed to suppliment Group 4 re the Olympics.
No doubt politicians will be praising the troops to the heavens in one breath, while in the next deciding how to get rid of them.
This policy will without doubt come back to haunt you in future years.
Kipling was correct when he wrote:
